Mojo Set for P. Bass When introduced in 1957, the "split-P" Precision Bass® pickup was a breakthrough for bass players. This was the original funk slap-bass pickup! Our Mojo features a fat vintage tone with punch, presence and definition. One of the two coils are RW/RP so it is hum-canceling. Cloth leads available upon request. shielding, but for single coils these things are completely canceling at

Finally, a great sounding J without the hum. Last night at a practice I actually used just the J, something I tended not to do much in the past. Extremely balanced from string to string and a nice throaty/vintagy J sound. The volume/balance between the J and P are equal, another first for me, I was always having to turn up the J when in a band setting.
