Stan Hinesley Humbucking Pickups
Humbuckers are available individually or in calibrated sets.
Because of the shallow mounting depths of most modern guitars, our
humbuckers come mounted on
low profile base plates
(1/4" leg length)..
If requested,
vintage style
base plates (1/2" leg length) can be substituted at no additional charge.
Please note, Vintage baseplates are only available in standard spacing
(50mm).
Zebra humbuckers have the black coil facing the outside in both the
bridge and neck positions. Reverse zebra has the black coil to the inside.
A Zebra neck pickup has the black bobbin facing the neck and a Zebra
bridge pickup has the black bobbin facing the bridge.

Each of these guys’ tones have a couple of things in common. Mega talent and the humbucker that started it all…the legendary PAF Humbucking Pickup. The Kashmir is our Alnico 2 loaded Classic PAF inspired humbucker. This pickup offers a warm, sweet, smooth vintage tone with enhanced midrange. Legacy "Modern" Vintage The Legacy is my Alnico 5 PAF inspired humbucker. This pickup offers a dominant and full bodied tone, extended range with tight lows, punchy mids, a bright top end and plenty of crunch when pushed. Powerful, very warm, balanced and articulate. The Legacy also includes all necessary mounting screws, springs and wiring instructions. *DC resistance= Neck 7.9k, Bridge 8.7k, Alnico 5. Available covers for this pickup: Open or Standard. "I wasn't happy with my custom guitar's electronics. It's a PRS/ES335 type hollow body. I talked at length with Stan and he recommended his Legacy on the bridge and his Kashmir on neck. I played a few gigs with them and was happy. However, when my MIDI was having problems the Tech convinced me to install Duncans (Jazz in neck and JB in bridge). The sound just wasn't there. The Stan Hinesley pickups killed the Duncans. I had his pickups installed again because they had a more rounded sound, more response and just better tone.
