I play thru an old black faced Fender and use only one dirt box on occasion. Tried many things, but always wind up back at simplicities doorstep. This p/u is well balanced as to tone. A slight backing off of the volume and there's ample clarity for any playing style imaginable. Kick it on full volume and it sings. Great sustain. Clarity and sustain.......I say that's a good p/u.
